Privacy Policy
This explains what we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, and what we do; and do not do; with it.

Who we are
Resinate Epoxy Flooring installs resin floor systems for homes and businesses across the Greater Toronto Area. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Resinate Epoxy Flooring.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into one of our forms, plus a small amount of technical information sent automatically by your browser.
- When you request a quote or send a message: your name, phone number, email address, the city or area your project is in, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box.
- When you sign up for our newsletter: your email address.
- Automatically, with any form submission: your IP address and browser identification string. We keep these to investigate spam and abuse, not to build a profile of you.
We do not ask for payment card numbers through this website, and we do not collect government identification, financial account details, or any of the categories of sensitive information defined under applicable privacy law.
Why we collect it
- To prepare and send you the estimate you asked for.
- To contact you about your enquiry, book a site visit, and schedule work.
- To send you seasonal floor-care emails, but only if you signed up for them.
- To keep our own records of work quoted and completed.
Text messages
If you tick the consent box on our quote form, you agree to receive marketing and non-marketing text messages from us at the number you provided; including appointment reminders, estimate updates, and job scheduling.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for assistance or STOP to opt out at any time. Opting out of texts does not cancel a quote you have already requested; we will simply reach you by phone or email instead.
Your consent to receive text messages is never shared with or sold to third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers who operate parts of this business on our behalf; for example our web host, or the service that delivers our email. They may only use your information to provide that service to us.
- When the law requires it; in response to a valid legal request, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
- If the business is sold or reorganised, your information may transfer with it. This policy would continue to apply to it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and contact messages are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to service the enquiry and to honour the warranty on any work that follows from it. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see below.
How we protect it
Enquiries are stored on access-controlled systems. Our staff area is password protected, is not indexed by search engines, and sends no customer data to any third party. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what you have given us.
Cookies
This website sets one cookie, and only when you interact with a form. It is a session cookie that lets us verify a submission genuinely came from our own form rather than from an automated script. It carries no advertising identifier, it is not read by anyone else, and it is discarded when you close your browser.
We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts and our location maps are embedded from Google Maps; loading those resources tells Google your IP address, as it would on any site that uses them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any of them.
- Stop texts by replying STOP to any message we send.
- Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it; just get in touch.
Under Canadian privacy law you have the right to access the personal information a business holds about you and to challenge its accuracy. We will respond to any request within 30 days.
Children
This website is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
