A floor with depth you can see into
Pigmented metallic resins hand-worked into flowing, three-dimensional patterns and locked under a mirror-gloss topcoat; no two Resinate metallic floors are ever alike.
Finish carpentry, not a colour chart
Metallic epoxy is worked by hand while it is still wet, not rolled flat like a standard coating. That is what turns a floor into a piece of art instead of a surface.
Diamond-ground preparation
The same non-negotiable first step as every Resinate floor; the slab is ground to an open concrete profile, cracks are chased and filled, and moisture is tested before any resin is mixed.
Hand-worked metallic pour
Mica-pigmented, 100%-solids metallic resin is poured and moved across the slab with trowels, squeegees, and forced air; pushing colour into swirls, cells, and depth that cannot be reproduced twice.
Mirror-gloss protective topcoat
A UV-stable polyaspartic clearcoat locks the pattern in place and gives it depth and shine; the same tough wear layer that shrugs off hot tires, salt, and daily traffic.

Metallic & decorative questions, answered straight

It will be in the same colour family and general character, but not identical. Metallic resin is worked by hand while it is still wet, so the swirls, cells, and depth form on their own; that is the appeal. Photos and showroom samples show you the palette and technique, not a stencil we trace.
-
No. The gloss comes from the polyaspartic topcoat, not a wax or polish that wears off. A dust mop and an occasional wet mop with a neutral cleaner keeps it looking poured yesterday. Avoid abrasive pads and you are done.
-
Both. The build underneath; diamond-ground prep, 100%-solids base, UV-stable topcoat; is the same system we put under every Resinate floor, garage included. It handles hot tires, salt, and daily traffic just as well as our standard flake floors; the metallic pour is what changes the look, not the durability.

More, because it takes a skilled installer longer to hand-work the pour instead of broadcasting flake. The exact difference depends on square footage and colourway. Get a firm, itemized number for your space; we will tell you straight whether metallic is worth it for your goals.
